St. Boniface Catholic Church Tooting opened for worship in 1907 and is home to a large Parish Community in South West London with over 45 nationalities represented in our parish family. We are in the RC Archdiocese of Southwark.

Holy Mass is celebrated daily – see Mass Times for details. Everyone is invited to the hall on Sundays after the 10:30am Mass for tea and coffee; for anyone new to the parish, you are very welcome to join in these coffee mornings and to meet the priests after Sunday Mass.

Our Parish Primary School (St Boniface R.C. Primary School) is a vital part of our community.

The parish has two halls available for hire on weekends (See Hall Hire).

We welcome Canon John to Our Parish family. He looks after the Department of Dialogue and Unity at the bishop’s Conference. He will stay at the presbytery and will help us whenever he is free to do so, after his full time work at the bishop’s Conference. We wish him a happy stay.

Many thanks for your prayers. We have completed the work of the dome. The external repairs have completed on the sides and the back.

The work at the front and the tower will start this week. Please be careful when entering and leaving the Church.

We have also done Varnishing of the pews; please do take care of them.

Some of the new hymn books are badly torn, hopefully not by an adult but we cannot blame the children. Please do not allow your children to use the hymn book as a toy. There is a colouring page for them. Note these are not just hymn books as they were given to the Church in loving memory of someone. Please give due respect to them. Thank you.

We are working on a booklet of our Parish History. If anyone of you have old photos of parish activity, Church or any material that may assist the work, please speak to Fr Shaju.

Those who have received their first holy communion this year are eligible to become altar servers. If interested, please fill in the form which is available from the Church porch and hand it over to a priest or put through the Presbytery letterbox.

This will now take place on the last Monday of every month at 7.30pm in the Presbytery and a prerequisite for any christening. The next programme will be (Bank Holiday) Monday 28th August.

The next informal gatherings in the Presbytery will be at 3pm on Saturdays: 16th & 30th September, 14th & 28th October.

If anyone is going through bereavement, any kind of loss, separation, difficulty in relationships, etc. and wishes to get one to one support, please contact Fr Shaju. We are happy to provide counselling.

Food & Drink in the Church

Please do not consume food & drink in the Church for both children & adults. The Parish is very happy that we have special places in the Church for people with pushchairs and prams. Please leave these spaces free for whom they were intended.

We also thank all parents for bringing their children to the Church and being part of our family. If your children are getting restless, please take them to the Cry Chapel.
