 Fr. Habteghiorghis Ukbay Neghasi |
Fr. Habteghiorghis Ukbay Neghasi, OFM Cap., assistant priest and part time chaplain to St. George’s Hospital. Fr. Habte is originally from Eritrea, he is a member of the Franciscan Order and has studied with the Franciscans in Canterbury and in Rome. Fr. Habte works full time at St. George’s Hospital on Tuesday and Wednesday, visiting the wards, celebrating mass at 12:30 in the hospital chapel and being on call for 24 hours on those two days for any emergency calls for a priest. His has one day a week off and works the rest of the week as an assistant priest in St. Boniface parish. |
